Prof. Fatima Abrahams

Prof. Fatima Abrahams

Fatima Abrahams is our Chairperson, she holds a DComm in Industrial Psychology and currently serves as a Senior Professor the Department of Industrial Psychology at the University of the Western Cape. She is a registered Industrial Psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa and served as a member of the Education Committee of the board for a number of years. She is currently a non-executive director of a number of companies including Foschini Group, Lewis Group, Clicks Group, Iliad Africa and BPSA.

Prof Eon Smit

Prof Eon Smit

Professor Eon Smit is emeritus professor and previous Director of the University of Stellenbosch Business School, visiting professor at Reims Management School in France and professor extraordinaire at Potchefstroom Business School. He has extensively consulted for business schools, government and private sector institutions. He is an Advisory Board member of the University of Hull Business School in the UK and a former member of the EQUIS Quality Committee and the Deans across Frontiers Committee, both in Brussels.

Reyburn Lars Hendricks

Reyburn Lars Hendricks

Reyburn Lars Hendricks completed a Bachelor of Business Science majoring in Actuarial Science at UCT. He is a CFA charterholder. He worked as an analyst and deal-maker in various investment companies such as Southern Life Asset Management, African Harvest and Hosken Consolidated Investments. He is currently CEO of H1 Holdings. Over the years, Reyburn and his wife has been involved with Tsiba in various forms: by tutoring mathematics, mentoring students, made donations to Tsiba, they currently support 2 students attending TSiBA and have been involved in the TSiBA Education Trust since inception.

Dev Pillay

Dev Pillay

Dev Pillay has a BA (Hons) from UKZN and completed Executive Development programmes at London Business School and INSEAD. Dev worked internationally in a variety of fields that include educational technology, programme management, business strategy, human capital development and operations.

Derrick Msibi

Derrick Msibi

With BBusSc, BCom (Hons), MCom, PMD (Harvard), CA(SA) qualifications, Derrick is currently Managing Director of Investment Solutions, South Africa’s largest multi-management investment firm. He has extensive business experience gained in the financial services industry over the last 18 years where he worked as an analyst, portfolio manager and director of Old Mutual Investment Group. His board experience covers industrial, infrastructure and private companies where he served as a non-executive director. He also represents Investment Solutions on key industry bodies.

Adri Marais

Adri Marais

Adri Marais is a co-founder of TSiBA. In her role as Chief Executive Officer, she is responsible for providing strategic direction to lead TSiBA’s reach and impact in achieving its vision to ignite opportunity and social change. Leigh Meinert

Leigh Meinert

Leigh Meinert is a co-founder of TSiBA and continues to perform the role of Non-Executive Director on the TSiBA Board. Leigh holds a BA in Value and Policy Studies from USB and has a Masters in Higher Education Studies from UCT. She conceptualised TSiBA's Leadership Curriculum.

Gia Whitehead

Gia Whitehead

Gia Whitehead is a co-founder of TSiBA and continues to perform the role of Non-Executive Director on the TSiBA Board. Gia holds a Bachelor of Information Technology from Monash and has a Postgraduate Diploma in Enterprise Management from UCT. She conceptualised TSiBA's Entrepreneurship Curriculum.

Belinda van Niekerk

Belinda van Niekerk

Belinda van Niekerk is the Executive Operations Manager, strategically responsible for Finance, IT, Campus Management, HR as well as the Eden Campus. Belinda joins us with years of experience across many industries, Media, Financial, Retail and Travel & Tourism to name a few.

Pearl Pugin

Pearl Pugin

Pearl Pugin is the Dean. She is responsible for the strategic planning, implementation and delivery of all aspects of TSiBA’s academic programmes. She holds an Honours degree in Labour Law Studies and a Masters in Management. Pearl is currently pursuing a PhD in Strategic Human Resource Management.

Yolanda Scholtz

Yolanda Scholtz

Yolanda Scholtz is the Manager: Talent Management, City of Cape Town. She holds a BA (Psych) from UCT and qualified as a Business Coach from USB. Yolanda is a seasoned HR professional with over 30 years’ experience in Local Government

Jacky Kalani

Jacky Kalani

Jacky Kalani is the Public Participation Manager at the Knysna Municipality. He holds a Human Resources Certificate from Oxbridge Academy, a Municipal Financial Development Certificate from the University of Pretoria. He further holds a Project Management and Municipal Competency Certificates from the University of Stellenbosch.
