TSiBA Eden tracks its alumni and is proud of its 82% success rate in its placement of all alumni. On the academic bridging front, TSiBA Eden has had great achievements. By the end of 2010 a total of 61 graduates had passed through our doors, of which 24 are now studying at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, 5 are at TSiBA Cape Town doing their BBA and 2 are at the University of Cape Town. Some are at other tertiary institutions and one is at the University of Minnesota in the USA - all as a direct result of their tenure at TSiBA Eden. Many others are fully employed in businesses in the Southern Cape and beyond – some of them self-employed and some are engaged in further part-time study.
After completing their studies at TSiBA Eden graduates have one of three options. In each case they continue to receive support from TSiBA Eden.
1) Continue with tertiary level studies. TSiBA Eden graduates gain automatic acceptance into the Bachelor of Business Administration Degree (BBA) at TSiBA Cape Town. Many TSiBA Eden graduates apply and are accepted into Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. This is a major feat as many of these students would have been previously denied access to tertiary education before coming to TSiBA Eden, based on their low high school matriculation points.
2) Others return to their rural communities and help to start their own entrepreneurial businesses or franchises.
3) Graduates find meaningful employment in a local business.
TSiBA Eden boasts an 87% success rate in its placement of graduates.
