The TSiBA Education campus is at Mupine in Pinelands, Cape Town.
Opposite the Conradie Care Centre, and a 5 minute walk from Mutual Station, the TSiBA campus is ideally situated for our students who travel by train and taxi to class daily.
Campus Facilities
The campus consists of
6 large lecture rooms which can accomodate between 60 -100 students,
12 tutorial rooms for smaller groups,
2 IT labs housing 40 computers each,
Administrative and Management office space.
Library
The TSiBA library is located on the first floor of the main campus building.
The primary focus of the collection is on business related topics including Management, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Commercial Law, Operations and Project Management and other business related information.
There is a small fiction section and also some material on topics of general interest.
The library has over 4000 printed volumes and over 50 journal titles. Access to EBSCOHost, an electronic database of journals is readily available.
Adjacent to the library is an additional computer laboratory that is equipped with computers dedicated to assignments and research.
A full time librarian is available, and students, lecturers, tutors and volunteers are encouraged to use and borrow books as needed. The library uses a bar coding system to monitor its lending. Reference books and journals are not for loan.
Computer Centre
Students have access to three fully equipped computer laborotories with internet access during normal business hours.
All students are provided with their own email addresses and printing credits, and are given access to the world wide web for research and communication purposes.
Careers Centre
Career Management is offered as a subject to students in Foundation Year and in the first year of the TSiBA BBA degree.
In addition to this, the Careers Centre offers group and individual counselling seminars and sessions. These are focused on honing the career management tools such as interviewing skills, CV writing and other skills that will improve employability.
The Careers Centre also supports the internship and placement programmes.
Entrepreneurship Centre
The TSiBA Entrepreneurship Centre is housed in the cottage and is seperate from the main campus building.
The Centre provides
- mentorship to budding entrepreneurs and serves as a hub of entrepreneurial activities.
- a platform for students graduating from TSiBA to jump start their businesses
- facilitators with practical experience in running businesses to enhance and deliver the Entrepreneurship curriculum of the business degree
- a valueable learning place for students during internships, where they act as consultants to the entrepreneurs, and where the entrepreneurs act as role models to the students as they watch enterprises being born.
The Centre serves TSiBA graduates as well as other entrepreneurs that wish to create sustainable businesses in their communities.
Tuck Shop
The TSiBA tuck shop is situated in the canteen. Students can buy from the tuck shop at their own discretion.
In addition a modest breakfast is available for all registered students free of charge from Monday to Friday during term time.
Parking
Parking is available for students and volunteers and security is provided 24 hours a day.
