  Application Process

Applying to study at TSiBA is a five step process.

Step 1: Complete and Submit TSiBA Application Form

TSiBA application forms are available for collection on campus, or can be posted to you.  Application forms can also be downloaded and can be emailed to you if requested.

Step 2: Attend TSiBA Briefing Session

TSiBA hosts briefing sessions for all applicants (dates are communicated closer to the time) on the TSiBA campus to explain the course and the process of studying at TSiBA.

Step 3: Writing your AARP test

TSiBA asks all applicants to write the Alternative Admissions Research Project test, which is administered by the University of Cape Town.  The purpose of this admissions test is to test each applicants comprehension skills and aptitude in English and Mathematics.

Step 4: Interview

All applicants that pass our AARP entrance requirements sit an interview with TSiBA staff.  This interview enables us to assess your compatiblity with the TSiBA culture, and you to assess how TSiBA operates and ask any questions that may have arisen through the process to this point.

Step 5: Orientation Camp

Successful applicants that register with TSiBA are expected to attend an Orientation Camp early in the year of admission.  This camp is held over 4 days and is funded by TSiBA as the last step in the selection criteria.  Participation and attendance at this camp is mandatory as the final step before scholarships are awarded.
