The recent Naturally Knysna Market held at the beginning of October saw six of TSiBA Eden’s Students showcasing Eden Campus, selling fresh produce, and preparing a selection of deliciously filled wraps for the weekend.
The Knysna event was held over two days and gave the students a wonderful opportunity to interact with members of the public. They got to talk about TSiBA, and put into place the skills they have been learning on campus. Their sales techniques were tried and tested, with each student having their own special learning experience.
The wrap maker Emmanuel, an Intern at TSiBA, had the opportunity to show off his newly acquired ‘chefing’ skills, which he is currently learning at the Eden School of Culinary Art in George. Under the guidance and mentorship of Ian Perryman from Pelican Lodge Guesthouse Sedgefield, the students rose to an enormous challenge and pulled off a very successful weekend.
