WOW! What great leaders we have within TSiBA Cape Town! On Wednesday 26 October TSiBA Cape Town held its Annual Academic Ceremony in which students were rewarded for their academic achievements within the first semester of the year. Some of the top achievers were almost predicted within the different year groups but others were unexpected surprises that brought joy to all.

In addition to the top academic achievers being announced there were appreciations and announcements of the other on campus societies such as the Peer Educators and Peer Counsellors- who’s numbers have grown dramatically! Other societies honoured were SIFE, by its new President Nomasonto Hlongwane and the SRC of 2010/2011 announced the winners of the “”Best New Society”, “The Best On Campus Entrepreneur” and “The Best On Campus Lecturer”.
The highlight of the Ceremony was the announcement of the biggest secret of the year…the announcement of the new SRC 2011/2012. These announcements were made to the jubilation of all students present, which truly made the Academic Ceremony of 2011 memorable.
