Aligned to address the primary purpose of the BBBEE Act and codes which is to address the legacy of South Africa’s unique history and to enhance the economic participation of Black people in the South African economy, TSiBA’s integrated model, which includes the TSiBA Education Trust, enables us to effectively serve as an EMPOWERMENT PARTNER (See table below).

The revised Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Codes of good practice become effective from 2015 and have far reaching implications for South African enterprises conducting business in South Africa and whose business interests are aligned to their scorecard rating.

As a direct legislative consequence the nature of stakeholder relationships and processes in enterprise ownership, management control, skills development and procurement will require considered reconfiguration and renewal. They will also require new partnerships and the opening of opportunities to groups previously excluded from active and meaningful participation in the mainstream economy.

In direct response to the broader context behind the original implementation of the B-BBEE Codes and their subsequent revisions, TSiBA provides an education model which produces not only excellent graduates but graduates who are employable – and who contribute directly to economic development and positive social change. TSiBA graduates are also the direct beneficiaries to whom the spirit and intentions of our B-BBEE legislation are directed. For this reason extend an invitation to partner with TSiBA in our collective endeavors in support of South Africa’s broad-based black economic development objectives – and the future of our country.
