What is TSiBA?

TSiBA Education is a private provider of Higher Education in business. TSiBA offers a unique Foundation Year Certificate in Business Administration followed by an enriched Bachelor in Business Administration focused on Entrepreneurial Leadership. TSiBA specifically targets scholars and potential students that would otherwise not have access to tertiary level education, by offering successful applicants full tuition scholarships.

All students at TSiBA are on scholarship, as such, TSiBA partners with corporate and individual funders who sponsor the operations and management of the institution. The TSiBA degree is fully registered and accredited by the Department of Education and the Council on Higher Education (No: 2007/HE08/001).

  
 

CSR in EDUCATION ... ONE WEEK TO GO.

On 21 November, the first CSR in Education conference commences.
 
Naledi Pandor, Minister of Education  will open the conference and share her perspective on how and where government, business and civil society can collaborate to promote equality and innovation in education
 
Nick Rockey, MD of Trialogue will share research findings from the latest edition of The CSI Handbook regarding the trends in corporate spending in the education sector.
 
Nick Taylor, CEO of the Joint Education Trust will share his learnings as to the factors that have transfromed dysfunctional schools into examples of excellence and the progress with regard to multi-sector collaboration.
 
Delegates will continue through the conference, networking and collaborating with like-minded stakeholders.  Experiences of a walking tour of Langa and a once in a lifetime evening with Moyo and Eziko Restaurant end the first day.

Zackie Achmat speaks at Education Conference
With our focus on collaboration, Zackie Achmat, one of the founding members of Equal Education will be joining us at the CSR in Education conference.
 
Equal Education is a research based community organisation that aims to act as a bridge between education policy makers and academics on the one hand and a whide range of citizens engaged in education on the other.
 
Achmat, a tireless activist, will be joining us at this conference (21 & 22 November) to speak about the importance of collaboration and the factors that inhibit this in South African education today.
