What is TSiBA?

TSiBA Education is a private provider of Higher Education in business. TSiBA offers a unique Foundation Year Certificate in Business Administration followed by an enriched Bachelor in Business Administration focused on Entrepreneurial Leadership. TSiBA specifically targets scholars and potential students that would otherwise not have access to tertiary level education, by offering successful applicants full tuition scholarships.

All students at TSiBA are on scholarship, as such, TSiBA partners with corporate and individual funders who sponsor the operations and management of the institution. The TSiBA degree is fully registered and accredited by the Department of Education and the Council on Higher Education (No: 2007/HE08/001).

 New Campus -TSiBA Eden

As of October 2009, TSiBA has joined with Eden Campus in Karatara and now has a second campus now known as TSiBA Eden. The merger brings together two institutions who share the same vision and passion and unlocks many more opportunities for our young people.

TSIBA Eden Campus is a rural community Green Business and Entrepreneurial College based in the Karatara village.  The Campus provides students from poor communities in the Eden District with a two year course in Business and Entrepreneurship, with an emphasis on Green enterprises.  The curriculum includes water awareness, permaculture and environmental management components, and Green Connection is working on developing an additional energy component.

In addition to theoretical business education, the students are required to manage and run a variety of SMME businesses to ensure the development of hands on business skills.  A substantial portion of their two year education is spent in developing businesses that can then be incubated.  Where possible the students are involved in SMME businesses that they will be able to replicate when they return to their communities at the end of their studies.
